Poem by Mike Manson

So, what are you going to do about it?

The hot winds have killed the harvest;

there’s a fool in the big house;

aspirations are at an all time low.

There is no sense in the world;

while souls need food on earth,

they’re sending a rocket to Mars.

The truth is a lie,

and a lie is the truth.

So, what are you going to do about it?

Be true to the world.

Be true to yourself.

Do what you can,

and more.

Enjoy the optimism of Spring shoots

and the beauty of butterflies.

Do what you can,

and more.

‘Sometimes things, after all,

don’t go from bad to worse.’
